The James Project is the reason Equity Maven came into being. We saw a need to help and educate people in their financial affairs. Many people who have problems financially can correct them, if they can get access to those that have the neccessary knowledge and willingness to help. The James Project sought to fill that void. We still seek to fill that void.
As time progressed, we saw that many other people were also having debt issues. While their cases were not as severe as those the James Project sought to help, they were families that were at risk and felt hopeless about their financial future. Statisically, about 60% of American families are struggling with debt. We looked for products and services that would help these people reduce or eliminate their debt and tools that would help them build their equity. Out of this expanded view, Equity Maven was born.
The mission of the James Project has not changed. For those who are having financial difficulties and don't have the means to obtain the necessary help, the James Project will provide education or guidance to those families or individuals to help them deal with the financial problems that they are facing.
